Wireless thermal monitoring Selectric STP-IG

The STP-S1 and STP-S3 temperature and humidity sensors enable real-time monitoring of temperature in the range from −40 °C to +125 °C and ambient humidity from 10% to 90%.
Data transmission is carried out wirelessly using the LoRa protocol.

The system provides wireless temperature and humidity monitoring at all critical connections and equipment locations, as well as in distribution networks with voltages up to 110 kV.

The monitoring zone includes:

1. Motor winding terminal blocks (BRNO) — monitors the temperature of contact connections, terminal blocks, and busbars, as well as the humidity level inside the enclosure to prevent corrosion and leakage currents.
2. Circuit breakers in distribution boards, contactors, and magnetic starters — tracks the temperature of power contacts and terminals, enabling detection of overheating due to poor contact or overload.
3. Soft starters and variable frequency drives — temperature monitoring at incoming and outgoing cable/busbar connections, as well as humidity inside enclosures.
4. Busbars and busbar assemblies in switchgear — monitors the temperature of bolted joints and contact pads.
5. Terminal blocks and junction boxes — tracks heating at the connection points of cables with different cross-sections.
6. Current and voltage transformers — monitors the temperature of contact connections and windings.
7. Disconnectors and load-break switches — diagnostics of heating in contact groups and moving parts.
8. Temperature monitoring at cable lug connection zones (on busbars, terminals, clamps) — detection of local overheating due to loose tightening, oxidation, poor crimping, overload, or insulation aging.
