The Selectric SDE8 Frequency Converter for controlling asynchronous and synchronous electric motors is a multilevel voltage inverter with a multi-winding power transformer made of copper. The total harmonic distortion of input grid voltage and output voltage during VFD operation does not exceed 4% without using additional filters.
