The SCJKBH-1A1b-3.0-R-5000 temperature fiber optic cable is a sensitive element of the Selectric STP-OD distributed temperature monitoring system.The cable is designed for continuous temperature monitoring along the entire length of the object and allows for the detection of local overheating with precise determination of their location. When a laser pulse passes through the optical fiber, the system analyzes the parameters of light backscattering and generates a temperature profile of the entire monitored line, linked to the coordinates of the object.
The temperature cable is marked along its entire length at 1‑meter intervals, which makes it possible to accurately associate temperature events with the location where they occurred. The cables of individual channels are connected to the STP‑OD signal processing unit.
